Oops. A grievous omission. I went to all the trouble of creating a “Credits and Attributions” page and did not include on it a “Thank You” to the most important people - - YOU. I’ve corrected that. You can click the button on the bottom of this Blog post or click the “About Us” page for a drop down page list to select from. I apologize for the oversight.

And I think it’s appropriate to add something else here. When this Blog was first started last November, the thought was to write about Russian women from the perspective of an American man and his Russian wife. Hence the site by-line “An American Man And His Russian Bride Share Their Story”. That’s all well and good, but the facts are that men from all over the world are interested in Russian women. Likewise we find, to our pleasure, that men** from all over the world are visiting our site. So what I need to add here is this caveat. Each country has its’ own immigration laws and requirements. And each country, indeed regions within a country, has its’ own challenges to overcome for a foreign bride to adjust to living there.

Obviously, the major issues are language, culture, and customs. Each country is different and being an American I will not pretend to know the specific challenges your country will pose to your Russian wife given the language, culture, and customs of your country. Thus I will continue to write from the perspective of an American man. My hope, and what I will strive for, is to write lucidly enough about the issues so that you can translate them to your own situation.

Of one thing I am absolutely certain. If you make the effort to understand the issues and challenges, to listen and adapt, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams.

** We assume, perhaps in error that mostly men visit our site. For women that visit our site we offer a special welcome and invitation to post your comments. It’s not all about men. It’s about women and men together.

Until next time, if you can dream it, you can live it.

Gary.
