No, I don’t have “writer’s block. I have instead something best characterized as “writer’s indecision”. So many topics flood through my mind. Let’s see, there’s the K-1, k-3 visa process and things we learned that could help you with that process. Or, there’s the “IMBRA thing” and how to relate to it. Or, dating agencies - - how to utilize (or not utilize) this resource to find a Russian woman. Or how about Russian food and some perspectives about how and why it differs from so-called “standard American fare”. How about if I write about the latest language difficulties and associated hilarities?
Why this indecision? Well, in no small measure it’s because this is the eve of Russian Woman’s Day. I know that this is a huge day for Alla. I have plans which I believe will create for her a great day, and yet I have some trepidations about the successful execution of these plans. I’ll disclose more at the end of the day. But suffice it to say that for now, I’m a little stymied about where to head next in this journal.
Certainly, some of this indecision will dissipate at tomorrow’s end. But some will yet remain. And here’s where you can help. Post a message to let me know your preferences about what I write of next. I’ll honor your requests and post accordingly.
I look forward to hearing from you. Until next time - - My Very Best to you and yours.
Gary.
P.S. A correction - - on Jan. 30, I wrote “if you’re in Russia, you may already be in Moscow. But Russia is a big, as in VERY BIG, country and there are several cities from which the U.S. embassy can issue fiancee visas.
I’m in error here. All K-1/K-3 visas are issued at the embassy in Moscow. The U.S. consulates in other major Russian cities issue other types of visas, but not for fiancees or wives of American citizens.
My apologies for the error and any confusion thus created.
